If you’re planning to go on a trip, like going out of town or perhaps to go camping, you’ll need a lot of things.  Aside from clothes, you might need tents, lamps, sleeping bags and other camping gear.  You might want to have a checklist just to make sure that you have all the things you need for the trip.  Renting a vehicle is a good thing when getting to the location especially if there are only few modes of public transportation available.  But if the place is easily accessible, taking public transportation is not that bad too.  It saves you gas and being surrounded by people you’re not comfortable with.  Going for discounted stuff like cheap coolers can also be considered.

Completing your checklist may sometimes be expensive especially if this will be your first trip.  Nevertheless, there are some items which are sold at a reasonable price.  Just look in the internet and you will find lots of coleman coolers, tents and cookware for sale.  Buying brand new stuff is okay if you have extra cash for it.  On the other hand, second hand stuffs are not that bad if you know how to inspect them.  There are times that they are sold at a low price because of the damages and the low quality of the item. 

Take for example stainless steel cooler; there are a lot of coolers sold in the market.  Just look at EBay and you’ll find a lot of it there.  Before purchasing the item, try to ask some information about it; like how long was it used, what the reasons why it is being sold and the likes.  This will more or less give you an idea if you still want to buy it or canvass around first.  But if you’re already satisfied with the answers, you can buy the item right away.

Just like stainless steel cooler, second hand tents can also be bought.  Some tents are being sold because the owner bought a newer and bigger one or a tent that for him is just the right size.  Meet ups are recommended when buying these things so that you can inspect it.  If you’re far from each other and meet ups is not possible, you can always have an arrangement with the previous owner.  There is no harm with this since you just want to make sure that you’re getting your money’s worth.
